Writing: Information Report

I am learning to write an information report.

I'll know I can do this when I can write a report with a title, classification, description, location and a group of facts.

Something I learned was that you have to use facts not just make up information.

Learner Qualities: Communicate

I am learning  how to communicate.

I'll know I can do this when I can identify a variety of ways I can communicate with others. 

I communicate by using body language.

Reading Ruru

I am learning to find and keep track of information in longer texts.

I'll know I can do this when I can recall the details of previous chapters of the text.

Something I found hard was getting my work done.

Art Attack: Don Binney

I am learning to create a piece of art inspired by Don Binney.

I'll know I can do this when I have created a landscape with a foreground, middle, and backgrouniwikd.

My bird and my background are coloured using pastels and natural colours.

I will add more colours next time.

 

Maths:

I am learning to solve addition problems by counting on or backwards in my head.

I'll know I can do this when I can solve addition and subtraction problems by counting on/back in my head in ones up to 100.

Something I learned was adding my ones and tens together.
